Remove and Rebuild Neuro Testing p2
I woke up smiling and was watering my four plants, took my son's dog to daycare, and while driving back home I snapped a photo of this beautiful morning photograph as I returned from daycare.
What I realized is that in life it is what you make of it. In the organization you set up on a daily basis, the determination, the approach you bring to your everyday life is everything. I used to be a person who complained about everything. Until one day I decided to change my life completely. Change brings consequences; when you decide to focus on yourself and be assertive, you may notice that many people will not be satisfied with your decisions. That’s okay. The door to success is based on the decisions you make right now. Every morning life gives us the opportunity to change. It is our choice what we do with the day that is given to us.
Do we complain about our illnesses, finances, the fact that we are not living the way we would like to, a traffic jam or a traffic jam, our pants that don’t fit us right, our hair that is out of place, a diagnosis, a lost job, the pain of a dear one, a heartbreak, etc.? Let me share with you what happened yesterday… Yesterday was my appointment for my neuropsychological test, and I decided to sing and record myself and post it on WhatsApp on my journey towards this 4 and a half hour procedure. It was an experience to see how my memory loss has increased, but I embraced it with grace and enjoyed every minute of it. The Doctor said, “Mitzy, your attitude is amazing.” I am so happy to share my journey with you all because I live every day striving to be better for myself, beat all odds, and prove that the mind is a powerful tool.
Things started falling off my left side, and it was funny this morning because the coffee grounds fell out of my hand, and as I was cleaning it up, I looked up. I said, “I’ll just have to use my right hand a little bit more and let my left side rest a little bit until we can retrain myself on what it can and can’t tolerate.” Then I started thinking about people with no hands or who can’t see, and I said to myself, “Mitzy, you are one lucky woman.” Yes, I have developed episodes of sudden sleep attacks, but I smiled at the Doctor and said, “I like it because I’m like an HP computer. I need time to reset in order to function properly, so when I have to sleep, I sleep a little bit, and when I get up after taking a 3 minute mini nap, I’m off to work and pick up where I left off.” 😂🤣😂🤣😂 ( In a week, I will post the results of this test), and we will walk this journey together knowing that the mind is the greatest tool we have and that we have been given to fight any situation. It takes courage to succeed; it takes courage to be different. But I have learned that greatness takes time. Let people say what they want about you. That's okay; the door is open for you to walk through, not for everyone else. Let your results speak for you and never give up.
Don't sit and wallow in past pain (that can mean a second ago). Build even when you're broken! To change your life, you must change your mindset from surviving to winning.
We decided to see how we view life and what reaction we will take when we walk through the door and step outside. This day can be the start of a wonderful day! (This was taken at 6am and all I could do was smile even though in the morning I tripped over my own feet, dropped my keys and the dog almost made me fall 😂).
I choose to see the beauty of a great day. The rest is just lessons!

They asked me to post the video that I mentioned in the writing about my trip to my appointment, so here it is... I didn't expect to publish it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
