This picture was me touching the grass and being thankful for all the life we have around us.
While in my room studying for my upcoming class online, I realized I couldn’t breathe. I called the nurses station, and one of the nurses helped me thru everything.
These nurses go out of their way every day to help us here. This is my second time being in isolation with Covid19, and they do NOT treat us as if we are contagious.
They always have a smile on their faces and treat us with the utmost respect. These nurses and security guards have saved my life for the second time. I will forever be thankful.
I wish I could say the same thing about the Morton Hospital in Taunton, Massachusetts. When I arrived, I was treated as if I had leprosy. I was left in a room with no call bell and good thing I had a second epinephrine pen with me.
Once again I couldn’t breathe; I said, “Lord, if this is my time, please protects my 2 sons. My youngest needs me still, but please look out for him”.
I administered my second epi and wrote this: Here you will see the writing in a piece of paper:
I had to write because I didn’t think I would make it out alive, but I’m thankful I’m still here, and The nurses at the Holiday day Inn greeted me and helped me as they do on a day-to-day basis. To all of you, thank you for your service. I’m eternally grateful. Know that your work and dedication are not in vain.
I can honestly say I feel like Rocky in the movie with Silvester Stallone because I have fought yet another fight. Even though my lungs feel like chopped liver, my body feels like I ran a marathon.
But let's look at the bright side. I have a plain bagel for tomorrow morning and fresh hot coffee. What else can I ask for😁)
Never allow people's ugliness to damage your soul!
Always look at the positive in everything negative or hurtful that is done to you.
Only then will you find peace in the midst of your struggle and pain.
