Rain drops & Tear drops

Listen to this article!

Sometimes circumstances in our life happen, and it's okay to cry and feel sad at times; the importance is NOT to stay in that state of mind. Here I will explain the connection between tears and rain.

Rainfall is the main way that the water in the skies comes down to Earth.

Lakes rivers recharge the underground aquifers and provide drinks to plants and animals. High in the air, tiny water droplets condense until they are so heavy they fall as rain. This is the same feeling we feel when a situation happens, and it's so heavy in our chest that all we can do is cry and shed tears that roll down our cheeks.

When we cry emotional tears, these tears contain more mood-regulating manganese than the other types. Stress "tightens muscles and heightens tension, so when you cry, you release some of that," Sideroff says. "[Crying] activates the parasympathetic nervous system and restores the body to a state of balance."

I went outside to the porch and looked at the beautiful rain droplets that captured my attention. Why? Because from all the rain that was falling, these rain droplets connected to reach their destination, and when I looked at the rain in itself, I realized once again that beyond those droplets, I could see, smell nature and understand that everything is a process, and we all evolve differently.

"Water" has to come into our lives in rain or as teardrops from a situation so we as people can build resilience and grow. That is not only for us but for this earth as well. If it doesn't rain, nothing grows.

Thunders occurs when a single thunderstorm affects one location for an extended time. Sometimes we go through a situation or illness," issues with family members," difficulty understanding our body, not being content with our looks, being financially unstable, not where we envisioned ourselves in our lives, projects that have not reached their full potential, "hurts that have not been healed" in our lives, depression that we don’t speak about, secrets that haunt us, and even people thoughts of us that are carried from generation to generation, unhappiness in our marriage, mistakes that cannot turn back, all this and more are the meaning behind thunderstorms.

Why because thunderstorms can bring heavy rains (which can cause flash flooding), strong winds, hail, lightning, and tornadoes. Severe thunderstorms can cause extensive damage to homes and property, which means that all of these situations will bring chaos in our lives and scars, but even in the cycle of a thunderstorm, we see stages.

Just like in our lives. Thunderstorms have three stages in their life cycle:

  • In the developing stage,

  • In the mature stage,

  • The dissipating stage.

The developing stage of a thunderstorm is marked by a cumulus cloud that is being pushed upward by a rising air column. In our lives, we go thru stages of life that are described in detail:

  • The germinal stage

  • The embryonic stage

  • The fetal stage

  • The infancy stage

  • The childhood stage

  • The adolescence stage

  • The adulthood stage

All these stages bring a continuance in our lives, and just as these beautiful droplets that fall from our cheeks or the sky happen. We have to know that this is just a time, but it's not meant to stay in this situation.

"Rainwater, or snowmelt, both soaks into the ground," meaning: "we can sulk into depression and reminisce on the past" or we can become like groundwater and use whatever situation as a lesson and ground ourselves to continue going, knowing that it will be a process and that this process will not be an easy one.

We can choose to evaporate ourselves into the shadow of sadness and hope and fallacies, lies, and spoken words with no action, or we can flow (over the surface)of the land and say, “heck NO……this hurts; it brings me cold and shivers to my spine, and I have cried a river” “but I'm going to work just like the sun does.”

The rain can clear dust and pollutants ( we have to clear our aura of these feelings that human beings come into our lives), which normally block sunlight. With less of these particles in the air, more light can come through the atmosphere ( if we set small goals, nothing big, step by step, "we will make a change" ). We will shine and reflect even brighter once everything clears. That is what I learned from this beautiful rainy day. Seeing and hearing what this rain has allowed me to push forward.

If no one understands you or wants to judge your life and won’t back you up in your dreams...... LET THEM BE, let people sleep through life; "live for you," and the right people will connect and shine by you and for you.

Yes, life is hard, and believe me, it is painful, but if you want to look back on your life and say. I'm Blessed; look at me. I'm a few steps ahead of what I was a few months ago. Absorb the positivity of life and let go of the negativity.

  • Say I love you often.

  • Consider your tests as lessons.

  • Each scar; turn it into a story and put a happy ending to it.

  • Each tear that is shed from your face on a difficult day; embrace it and treasure it because it cleanses your soul and knows that we are unique and perfectly made.

Every tear that sheds from your face on a difficult day, embrace it and treasure it for it cleans your soul.
Know that we are unique and perfectly made.
